Swindon Town to kick off with YesRef

YesRef teams up with Swindon Town Academy to find and pay referees for Academy games during the 21/22 season.

Wiltshire based Swindon Town have an impressive Development Academy, hosting competitive matches for under 12 - under 16 teams throughout the season. The games are competitive and really support the development of the youngers players in the game we love.

As part of the new partnership, YesRef will showcase available refereeing opportunities to local referees, giving them the opportunity to be involved in a great level of football at a professional club.

By advertising games to qualified and registered referees who are affiliated to the local county FA’s, the YesRef platform reduces admin, saving everyone time in preparation for match day. The digital platform is simple and easy to use, alerting referees when a game is available and offering them the chance to referee games based on their own preferences, such as location, age range and role type.

YesRef takes care of payments to referees too, enabling real time payments to referees at the click of a button and producing invoices & receipts for the club to track everything within our app. Simple, secure and easy to use!

Ben Williamson, Chief Operations Officer, YesRef said “I am so pleased we have been able to partner with Swindon Academy for the upcoming season. We will work with Wiltshire FA to ensure as many referees as possible will get the opportunity to referee at Swindon Town to support their development”.

Seamus Brady, Swindon Town said “YesRef provides a great innovative way to request referees for our academy games. With increased visibility of when referees select the games, I can only see this saving time on referee related admin during the week, ensuring we can concentrate on player development on match day.”
